INCIDENT LOCATION: VT RT 5A, Westmore, VT – Lake Willoughby Please call the criminal court clerk to confirm arraignment time. *Please note: court date and time are subject to change at the discretion of Roy-Bengston was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility on a Probation violation and issued a citation ordering him to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court Criminal Division. Troopers located Roy-Bengston and placed him under arrest. Roy-Bengston had previously been issued a no trespass order for the store as well. Roy-Bengston then forcefully removed the items from the store employee's hands and fled the store. Roy-Bengston informed the store employee he was not paying for the items, so the store employee took the items off the counter. Roy-Bengston then went to the checkout line and requested a pack of cigarettes.
Investigation discovered Andrew Roy-Bengston, 31, of Cambridge, entered the store and removed a case of Twisted Tea hard iced tea from the cooler. SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time, Troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to the Madonna Mobil in Jeffersonville for a theft.
